With India's early (sadly sorrowfully) exit from the Champion's trophy, the Pepsi ad seems to ill-timed. Hooh Haa INDIA Aaya INDIA now seems to be HAAY HAAY INDIA... sadly so..:(
But the advertisements just dont stop ... INDIA vaapas aayega is doing the rounds these days it seems... Everybody seeems to be making money out of India's wins or losses ( more of late...)
But why is the team struggling ??? Is it the new coach who goes by the "Australian" way of thinking... is it that our guys do not have the stomach for a fight ( atleast fight till the eventual death..) ... is the captain, one of India's greatest batsmen ever not a great leader... is our policy for any-man-for-any-situation a little too much for the players to handle?????????
The team seems to have suddenly lost track of how to win games... They used to do it so easily a few months back....scares me what would happen to them in WC 2007.
Personally, am a big big fan of our Kaptaan,,, and i dont care about the talk that goes on about him not being as aggresive as our ex-kaptaan... I believe he's as aggresisive as the previuos one...only difference he would not let words show that.. it would his bat...or his field placings...
Is it that others in the team are not as dedicated as he is... Has it become just a question of saving your place in the side that some rookies defend and prod around when the need of the team is to get quick runs...is the coach adding pressure to all this... taking them to task in the full glare of the media...
Oh man...i have so many questions... and am so worried about our guys... And i can only hope that they get things right for the SA tour... and hopefully get into the groove for the all-important WC....
Hope they get back to doing the basics right... bowlers bowl and batsmen bat... keep it simple and straightforward... hope the team learns from the experience of their captain and coach.... take the good from the latter... and the hopefully the latter can remain away from controversy...
Hope..hope and mmore of it is wat i can do... Rest will be seen...
